District 5300 Governor Nominations

Rotary Year 2027-2028
District 5300 is seeking applicants for our 2027-2028 District Governor position. One of the most important decisions we make in our District is choosing our future leadership. We are seeking the most qualified person for the position of District Governor. If you have or know someone who has a demonstrated history of proven leadership as a Rotarian, and would be willing to serve, then we are seeking to utilize that talent, skill and sound judgment as our District Governor for the 2027-2028 Rotary year.
Applications are available on the district website may be submitted anytime between now and August 1, 2024. The application must be submitted via U.S Mail or email to John Chase.
Please note that the form indicates the nomination is from the applicant’s Rotary Club and should be signed by the applicant’s Club Secretary.

District Governor Application Form (DEADLINE – August 1, 2024).
A cover letter must be attached to the application form stating why the candidate is interested in serving. A resume that includes a progression of leadership roles, especially emphasizing Rotary District Leadership. Please note that the candidate’s Club Secretary must also sign the application form.
Qualifications for Candidacy and Duties of the Governor are listed in the Code of Policies, and the Manual of Procedures. At a minimum, the applicant must have served as a club president and must have been a Rotary club member for at least seven years by June 30 2027.
Qualified candidates will be notified of the time of their interview.
