Rotaract is a service organization created by Rotary International in 1968. Rotaract is available to men and women between the ages of 18-30 who are interested in making a difference locally, nationally, and internationally. Rotaract not only creates an outlet for helping others but is also designed to develop leadership qualities among members through service and fellowship. Rotaract is different than Rotary in many ways as the organization caters to younger individuals as well as is involved in a larger number of projects throughout the Rotary year.
Las Vegas Rotaract Club
The Las Vegas Rotaract Club was officially chartered in April 2007. The club has done several small scale projects such as collecting aluminum soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Las Vegas as well as larger scale projects such as purchasing 15 wheelchairs for local Las Vegas Veterans. The organization has worked closely with organizations such as Shade Tree domestic shelter and The Salvation Army. The LV Rotaract continues to change the Las Vegas Community with the help and support of local Rotary Clubs.
