District Conference 2017: May 18 – May 21, 2017
Our District Conference will showcase your hard work, enlighten others of the societal progress your efforts have created, and recognize your club successes. It is a chance for you to meet and mingle with Rotarians from across the District, make new friends; and, bring the family together for fun and relaxation. There will be something for everyone (including a few surprises).

Eric has been a Rotarian since 1983 when he was invited to join the Rotary Club of Elkton, MD. He served as Club President, Governor’s Area Representative, Group Study Exchange incoming Team Chair, Newsletter Editor, Matching Grants Co-Chair, Governor, Permanent Fund Chair, District Trainer and TRF Future Vision Pilot District Chair. He currently serves as the District’s TRF Stewardship Committee Chair.
Eric has served as a Sergeant-at-Arms at multiple RI conventions, Zones 31-32 Governor Mentoring Committee Chair, Administration Chair for Rotary Zones 31-32 Institute, RI Convention Promotion Coordinator for Zones 31-32, RI Membership Coordinator for Zones 31-32, discussion leader faculty for Rotary Leadership Institute for the Home Division and Zone 33 Division, Rotary Zones 31-32 Foundation Training Team Chair, and Discussion Leader at several Zone 33 Rotary Foundation Training Seminars. Eric was the co-founder and first General Chair of the Mid-Atlantic PETS (Philadelphia), General Chair of the Chesapeake PETS (Washington, D.C.) and has chaired the Multi-District PETS Alliance. Eric is the recipient of Rotary’s “Service Above Self” award. Eric is a major donor to the Rotary Foundation and has been awarded the Rotary Foundation’s “Citation for Meritorious Service” and the “Distinguished Service Award”.
Along with his wife, Irene and daughter, Kendal, Eric resides in Rising Sun, Maryland. He is employed as a project manager for an industrial construction contractor. Eric is a graduate of Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music. Aside from Rotary, he has served and continues to serve on many various charitable and local government boards and commissions.
In his leisure time, Eric enjoys music of all kinds – he performs with local choral & orchestral groups. He enjoys reading, traveling and other activities such as golf, collecting antique motorcycles and long-distance motorcycling. But, most of all, Eric prizes the time he can spend with his family.
